Scam Progression

Relationship Building Stage The suspect met the victim at a massage shop in Bangkok around March 2023. Over time, the perpetrator engaged in romantic conversation to establish emotional trust and affection.

Credibility Establishment Stage After gaining trust, the suspect began requesting loans with various justifications. To demonstrate repayment capability, the perpetrator used AI technology to forge and send via LINE:

A bank deposit certificate showing approximately 14.07 million baht in savings
An official police document claiming the perpetrator's mother had been arrested for illegal lottery involvement and needed bail money

The AI-generated forgeries were so detailed that critical elements like numerical figures and formatting were virtually indistinguishable from authentic documents.

Exploitation Stage Convinced by the forged documents that the perpetrator was financially stable and would repay as promised, the victim transferred money and assets 623 times between April 21, 2024, and September 19, 2024.
